Imperial is a European university with global reach - collaborating across borders with people from different backgrounds, cultures and nationalities is what drives the world’s best universities. The College is providing staff and students with support and information, growing its European collaborations and working to influence decision-makers in the UK and Europe. For updates on information for EU students following the EU referendum see our Imperial and the European Union pages.
As of Monday 2 July 2018: The government has confirmed that students from the European Union starting courses in England in the 2019/20 academic year will continue to be eligible for ‘home fee status’, which means they will be charged the same tuition fees as UK students for the duration of their courses. They will also be able to access financial support on the same basis as is available today. The maximum tuition fees for full-time undergraduate courses in 2019/20 are £9,250.

Our Centre for Academic English offers a three-week pre-sessional English course for students who have met our English language requirements, but wish to further develop their academic language and literacy before starting their course.

We try to accommodate all deferment requests but these are subject to approval.

"When I came on a student-led tour I could really easily picture myself here, and the location is absolutely amazing – South Kensington is such a beautiful and safe area. The large percentage of international students and the advanced research facilities were definitely also pros. I love everything about living in London, from the liveliness of the city to the endless list of places you can go to during the weekend."
