Technician Apprenticeship Scheme
Our apprenticeship is a four-year programme designed to train the future technicians who go on to work in our world-class workshops and laboratories, contributing to the research and teaching that we do.
Our technician apprentices specialise in either Mechanical or Electronic and Mechatronic Engineering and combine their studies with on-the-job training across a range of our busy workshops. As well as earning a competitive salary, you will build a wide range of technical skills and gain formal qualifications that will help you in your future career.
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with an interest in engineering. You will need (or expect to gain) grade 9 – 6 (A*-B) at GCSE in Maths and Science and grade 9 - 4 (A*-C) in English. No prior work experience is required.

How do I apply?
Applications for our Technician Apprenticeship Scheme 2019 will open on Monday 4 March 2019.
This year there will be two posts available, which will begin in September 2019.
The closing date for applications is Sunday 31 March 2019.
