Distinguished Lecture Series
The Distinguished Lecture Series invites leading researchers in the fields of medical imaging, robotics and sensing from around the world as well as from the Hamlyn Centre for Robotic Surgery to present their work at Imperial College London. Contact us for further information.
The Hamlyn Symposium
The Hamlyn Symposium has been successfully conducted for the past 11 years. Every year researchers, clinicians and engineers are invited to submit papers on a range of topics covering clinical specialities in Urology, Cardiac Surgery, Neuro Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, General Surgery, Gynaecology, ENT, Orthopaedic and Paediatric Surgery. The coming event will be held on 23rd- 26th June 2019, including workshops on various clinical and technical topics as well as the main conference with the participants from leading medical, science and technology institutions.

Hamlyn Centre organises the Summer School annually for talented undergraduate or post-graduate students around the world. Focusing on machine learning, robotics and sensor networks, the course consists of taught lectures by leading researchers in the field, mini-projects and workshops on research & communication skills training. Summer School also incorporates extensive social activities, affording the opportunity to explore the vibrant social life and culture of London. Contact us for further information.
The Hamlyn Winter School focuses on both the technical and clinical aspects of Surgical Imaging and Vision. Through invited lectures, hands-on demonstrations, workshops, and mini-projects, the purpose of our winter school is to help researchers familiarise with the cutting-edge research of this rapidly expanding field. The Hamlyn Winter School on Surgical Imaging and Vision 2018 will take place at the Hamlyn Centre, Imperial College London, from Monday 3rd to Friday 7th December 2018.
