MSc in Advanced Computing
The MSc in Advanced Computing is a taught postgraduate course aimed at excellent students who have a substantial background in computing.
Applicants who want to study advanced computing concepts and technologies in more depth are the natural target for this course. The expectation of graduates is that this course enables them to have rewarding careers in Computing or in a profession that has Computing or IT as a core component.
This course is also a suitable preparation for PhD studies.
All applicants for this course must possess the equivalent of a first-class UK degree, and must have taken computing courses that equate to two years of a computer science undergraduate programme. All applicants (UK, EU, Overseas) must provide Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores for Quantitative Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning, for further details please see our FAQs.

Applications for 2019 entry are open and have a deadline of 31 July 2019; however, please be advised that we reserve the right to close applications before this date. As such, we recommend applying sooner rather than later.
Course 496 Mathematics for Machine Learning must be taken if you are taking any of the following courses: 424H Reinforcement Learning, 433 Advanced Robotics, 460 Deep Learning, 493 Probabilistic Inference, 495 Advanced Statistical Machine Learning and Pattern Recognition.
