Entrance There are various opportunities for working here in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London.

The Department employs academic, research, secretarial and technical staff, and frequently has funded PhD and Research Associate positions available.

Taught courses

We offer an integrated four-year undergraduate study programme leading to an MEng degree in Chemical Engineering. There are also four MSc programmes, and a part-time programme in Process Automation

Undergraduate students from both within and outside the College may be interested in the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Programme (UROP), a summer vacation placement scheme that offers real research experience.  For more details, please see the College's UROP website.

Industrial placements

The Industrial Placements scheme unites our undergraduate students with organisations for short term summer placements, working on real industrial problems. Please see this page for more detail.
