The screen runs as a slideshow, with each slide appearing approximately every 90 seconds.

If you would like to advertise on the plasma screen, please email Robert Carpenter with details of when you would like this to start and your ready-to-go slide.
DSI Visual Corridor
The 12 metre wide DSI Visual Corridor consists of 8 wall panel screens facing the Sherfield walkway. Each individual screen is 1.5m wide x 1.125m tall.
Additionally, an 84 inch wide touchscreen facility is housed beside the entrance to the Data Science Institute, adjacent to the Visual Corridor.
The Sherfield walkway is a main artery through campus and footfall is an average of 1000 people an hour in term time; at peak times this reaches 1,800 an hour [source: College Masterplanning team, 2014].
- To publicise the activities and engagement of the Data Science Institute, and more broadly, data science research taking place at Imperial College London.
- To educate the College community about Data Science and inform the community about the latest developments in the realm of Data Science.
- To help the College promote significant news and events.
The DSI encourages staff and students from around the College to make use of the Visual Corridor to promote relevant content from their department.
Content can be provided in an image format, or video format [MP4 only at this stage]. The DSI is also able to feature content designed to be displayed across multiple screens if it is able to be supplied.
For enquiries, please email Robert Carpenter (Employer Liaison Manager).
Each year, we produce and update a wide range of handouts. These handouts cover a variety of topics, ranging from writing good quality CVs and Cover Letters, to How to Succeed at Assessment Centres.
