RSC BMCS Symposium: Synthesis in the Agri-Sciences

Tuesday 6th November 2018 from 9:00 to 18:00

170 Queen’s Gate, Imperial College London, South Kensington Campus, SW7 5HF, UK

£50 prize for best poster presentation

20 minute oral presentation and £50 prize selected from submitted abstracts

We would like to encourage early career researchers to register

SYNOPSIS

The objective of the meeting is to promote scientific interactions between academic and industrial researchers and to showcase the key role that synthesis plays in the discovery and development of new agrochemicals. New crop protection products are important to help overcome the huge challenges facing modern agriculture – To increase food production in a cost effective and sustainable manner, against a background of increasing population and decreasing farmland and water supplies, and loss of existing solutions due to resistance or regulatory pressures.
