What is a Hacker in Residence?

A Hacker in Residence is a user or member of the Hackspace that has been given special privileges within the Hackspace in return for additional support on other users projects. They are normally individuals that have a project that they are working on, have experience or expertise in a particular field or makers that would not normally have access to the facilities at the Imperial College Advanced Hackspace.

How do I become a Hacker in Residence?

In order to join the program we need to arrange a short interview to find out a little bit more about you and what you want to achieve during your time with us and what support we can offer you.

If your application is successful we will supply you with a small amount of paperwork that will need to be completed in order to continue, this includes; a plan of work and short project abstract; the Hacker in Residence MOU; Dyson School Casual worker Agreement and a Pay8A HR form.
